On October 5, 2024, the city of Riga was enveloped in the intense passion of Argentine tango thanks to the concert “Buenosairesa Nakts”, which saw the extraordinary collaboration between accordionist Roberto Palermo and violinist Aleksejs Koļesņikovs.
The event, hosted in a suggestive setting, took the audience on a musical journey that combines the timeless charm of traditional tango with the vibrant energy of Astor Piazzolla’s compositions. Palermo’s accordion, with its evocative and emotionally charged sound, masterfully dialogued with Koļesņikovs’ violin, creating a unique synergy that captured the hearts of the spectators.
The concert alternated moments of intense melancholy with overwhelming rhythms, reflecting the many nuances of tango. Songs such as Libertango and Oblivion captivated the audience, while lesser-known compositions enriched the experience with a touch of originality.
“Buenosairesa Nakts” was more than just a concert: it was a cultural encounter, a bridge between the musical traditions of Latin America and the elegance of the European music scene. A memorable event that left a deep mark in the hearts of those who were present.
This concert represents a further confirmation of the talent of Roberto Palermo and Aleksejs Koļesņikovs, two musicians who, with their virtuosity and passion, were able to transform an evening into an unforgettable experience.
