Project
Roberto Palermo Ensemble
A flexible concert project built around Roberto Palermo’s accordion voice, conceived for strings, orchestral colour and cinematic musical storytelling.
About the ensemble
Roberto Palermo Ensemble is designed as a modular live project: the accordion stands at the centre, surrounded by strings and arrangements that expand its lyrical, rhythmic and cinematic possibilities.
Artistic identity
The project can move between Roberto’s original music, Mediterranean colours, tango influences and film-like atmospheres. It is conceived for presenters who want an accordion-led concert with a refined acoustic sound and strong emotional architecture.
The ensemble can be adapted to the scale of the venue, from a compact chamber line-up to a larger orchestral presentation.

Performance formats
The project is available in two main versions, allowing the same artistic material to be presented in different spaces and budgets.
Accordion and orchestra
A larger concert version where the accordion interacts with orchestral colour, expanding the music into a broad cinematic and symphonic dimension.
Accordion and string quintet
A chamber version for accordion and strings, ideal for theatres, festivals and intimate concert halls where detail, breath and dialogue are central.
For presenters
Roberto Palermo Ensemble can be shaped around the artistic context of each event, from a focused concert program to a special production connected with theatre, cinema or cultural festivals.
Possible focus
