About the project
Tango Resonance is built as a refined tribute to Astor Piazzolla: lyrical, rhythmically precise and full of the tension between classical form, tango pulse and modern harmonic colour.
Repertoire
The program is dedicated entirely to Piazzolla, exploring the emotional range of his music: melancholy, bite, suspended lyricism, urban energy and dramatic silence.
Accordion and piano create a chamber sound that can move from intimate detail to orchestral intensity, making the project suitable for concert halls, festivals and cultural seasons.
Tatia Chikovani
Tatia Chikovani is a Georgian-Norwegian classical pianist based in Oslo, active as a soloist, chamber musician and artistic collaborator.
Artist profile
Her musical work combines classical discipline with a strong stage presence and a natural attention to colour, phrasing and dialogue with other instruments.
In Tango Resonance, Tatia’s piano gives Piazzolla’s music a sculptural harmonic frame, while Roberto’s accordion brings breath, attack and the unmistakable voice of tango.
