Roberto Palermo had the honor of participating in two prestigious masterclasses with the legendary Maestro Richard Galliano, experiences that left an indelible mark on his musical career.
The first took place in March 2011 at the Teatro Goldoni in Livorno. Set in the historic atmosphere of the theater, Roberto had the opportunity to learn the interpretative and technical secrets of one of the greatest innovators of the accordion. Galliano shared his unique musical vision, ranging from jazz to tango, inspiring participants to explore new sonic perspectives.
The second encounter occurred in 2016 in Asker, Norway. This event marked a moment of artistic growth for Roberto, allowing him to delve deeper into the Maestro’s advanced techniques while further exploring the expressive potential of the instrument.
Both experiences have profoundly shaped Roberto’s musical vision, enriching his repertoire and strengthening his connection to the tradition and innovation of the accordion.
